MANHOOD CLASSICS
DRIVE IT DAY

21st April 2024

The distance for this year is approximately 45 miles.

This year, the route is very similar to last year's event, starting in Selsey and winding its way West then North towards Rowlands Castle and on to The George Inn in Finchdean, before returning to Selsey, Ellis Square via a different route.

* Selsey Area Members: Meet on Chichester Road, just past St Peter's Church at 8:30 sharp.
* Wittering Area Members: Meet at Thyme and Chili restaurant on A286 by 8:30 ready to join convoy as it passes through
* Everyone Else: Meet in long layby between Nutbourne and Southbourne on A259 by 9:30, the rest of the group will meet you when they get there.

Here Barry will be offering plaques to go in your car at a cost of £5 as this is a charity run in aid of Childline. Please have the right money available to save time.

From here we will proceed in convoy and follow the planned route turning off the A259 at Southbourne into Steine Road, heading North via Westbourne then passing through Rowlands Castle under the railway arches, right into Finchdean Rd and onto The George Inn at Finchdean.

The George Inn (A Manhood Classics Sponsor) has offered us their car park for a comfort stop. Not only is it a comfort stop, but breakfast, snacks and drinks will be available to purchase.

Leaving The George Inn we backtrack under the railway arch to Deanlane End then head North Easterly towards Forestside. At Forestside we turn right signposted Stanstead House then south via Aldsworth, then east towards Funtington, East Ashling then after a short distance turn right heading towards the Roman Palace where we head for Fishbourne which will take you down to the A259, turn left, where we will make our way back to Selsey and Ellis Square.

We trust you will enjoy our new round robin trip.

Krys will have Membership Forms for anyone who hasn't joined.
