DRIVE IT DAY
25TH APRIL 2021
Great response to our first event of 2021 The National Drive it Day Sunday 25th April with Manhood and the Hayling Legends doing the 1 hour circuit of beautiful Hampshire and West Sussex countryside . With over 70 vehicles attending from the two clubs and our friends Mike Jeavons and Yvonne Davey taking some great photos as we travelled through Rowlands Castle it made for an enjoyable day . Collections from Manhood members of over £180 and we understand a similar amount raised by the Hayling Legends plus donations direct to the FBHVC for DID plaques, these doanations going to NSPCC childline charity . Thanks to Dennis Knockton for producing our own DID window plaques.
Stay safe, Les Barry and the team.
MARCH 2020 MEET
Great turnout of 44 vehicles today with special mention to the new member from Worthing and the returnee from Southampton with their XK8 and Toyota bB respectively. We really are spreading out as a club and the ethos of everything and everyone welcome makes for a great range of motors. Wonderful at last to see the awesome Cadillac from Hunston and the newly finished International Pickup from Sidlesham. Other new visitors were a couple of MGs and a Jaguar mk.II and a really tidy black Cobra. Not to mention the blue Cortina that sneaked out before I had a chat with the owner, that sounded a bit special, will have to check that one out next time. Finally apologies to the Chevy Van parked next to me that I forgot to snap. Cheers, Clive
