We've just heard the sad news that our friend and early founder member of our club at Sidlesham, Mike Bridger, has passed away after illness.
Mike always an active member at our meets has led a very interesting life as a keen motorcyclist and car enthusiast over the years.
Mike will be sadly missed, our thoughts are with his son Joe and all the family.
Following another successful Summer Show, Manhood Classics donated monies to each our our preferred Charities.
Donations were presented by our club chairman Steve Denne.
£400 to Selsey 1st Responders
£400 to Brent Lodge Wildlife Trust
£400 to The Old Gardens Animal Rescue Centre
Photos below show the donations being received by the respective Charities all of which were gratefully appreciated.

Understood to be one of only 16 cars of this model on the road in the UK in full working order. After an 8 year search for a “Big 15” the previous owner discovered 227 UXY in a barn in Stroud, Gloucestershire in 2005 where it had laid dormant for over 20 years. The car was in a sorrowful condition and fully restored over a 2 year period between 2005 and 2007 by Dennis & Martin Ryland from Traction Renaissance Services of Stroud. Out of a total production of 750,000 Citroen Traction Avant cars produced in Europe during 33 years of manufacture, this is one of only 1028 Post War Citroen Traction Avant Big 15’s manufactured in the UK. The body shells were bought in from Paris in “knocked down form” and then assembled in the Citroen Slough factory with 51% of its components being of British manufacture. These cars built in the UK were distinctively up market from the French models to include metallic paint finish, leather seats, sun roof, mahogany dash board and door cappings as well as Lucas electric components all necessary it was felt by Citroen to meet the needs of the UK market at the time. The car now has the later DS engine with SU carburettor connected to the later 4 speed gearbox. Electric power steering has been added together with a brake servo. This car is a delight to drive at 70mph on modern roads. The current owner bought it from a Traction Owner Club member having been told it was the best Big 15 on the road in the UK. I still believe this to be the case. The car is being sold so that I can concentrate my collection on MGs.
I am based near Chichester West Sussex and would welcome any inspection on my premises.

I have owned this for about ten years but due to space restrictions sadly it has to go. Always starts on the button, bags of fun and I would drive it anywhere.
There is a soft top to go with the car (I removed it a long time ago and do not use it) and various spares some new some not so new.
Drive it away for £6750
