Manhood Classics Car Club Update June 2020

We hope that everyone is safe and well in these difficult times. Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop with the Club’s news.

We have no plans to resume any of our organised meets for the time being and not until socially acceptable and approved as safe to do so. We are not expecting any of our usual local events to take place this year and we have been informed today that neither the Goodwood Festival of Speed nor the Revival will take place this year. A sad year in many ways!

We are aware that some local enthusiasts are encouraging limited local meet ups. Attendance to these are purely down to the individual.

We are all looking forward to the days when we can all meet again safely.

Stay safe and well - Manhood Classics Committee

Because of the present situation with the Coronavirus outbreak it is with reluctance that we have decided to cancel all Club meetings including the Golf Club event planned for 29th March until further notice.

We will keep you updated via this Website, email and Facebook as and when any changes are made.

We hope this necessary decision will be short lived and we can return to normality in a month or two.

Stay Safe.

Les & Barry

Great turnout of 44 vehicles today with special mention to the new member from Worthing and the returnee from Southampton with their XK8 and Toyota bB respectively. We really are spreading out as a club and the ethos of everything and everyone welcome makes for a great range of motors. Wonderful at last to see the awesome Cadillac from Hunston and the newly finished International Pickup from Sidlesham. Other new visitors were a couple of MGs and a Jaguar mk.II and a really tidy black Cobra. Not to mention the blue Cortina that sneaked out before I had a chat with the owner, that sounded a bit special, will have to check that one out next time. Finally apologies to the Chevy Van parked next to me that I forgot to snap. Cheers, Clive

November's trophy meeting at the golf club was lucky with the weather and enjoyed by a good bunch of regulars and new visitors.

Special mention to first timers Dave and Kitty with their Skoda and Michael and his Citroen.

Congratulations to our prize winners

1st    Michael and his Slough built Citroen

2nd  Chris and his Ford Thunderbird

3rd   Gary and his Jaguar mk II

Nearly a hundred cars and vehicles enjoyed a fantastic New Years Day meet at Selsey East Beach.

Another great night at Manhood Classics Xmas dinner at Selsey Golf Club.

Thanks to Barry for arranging everything and Dennis for the music.

Greatly enjoyed by all who attended
